Becoming A Surrogate
What does it mean to be a gestational surrogate? As a gestational surrogate you would carry a baby that is not genetically related to you, for a family who is unable to do so for various reasons. At Tiny Treasures we value, support, and admire our surrogates for the selfless work they are doing to help families grow. We also believe all qualified candidates should have EQUAL opportunity to help assist a family in growing. This is why we strive to help EVERY surrogacy candidate find a great match quickly, whether that's through Tiny Treasure’s Advocacy, or one of our incredible partner agencies.
At Tiny Treasures we have an abundant amount of intended parents looking for their perfect surrogate, but occasionally they may not be the right fit for you. By sharing your profile with other trusted partner agencies as well as ours, we give you a huge advantage over being locked into working with one agency; instead of waiting for a match while locked into an agreement with one company, potentially for 6 months or longer. We can significantly reduce your wait time by having your profile shown to intended parents across multiple agencies. If one of our partner agencies has intended parents that they think would be a good match for you, we facilitate communication between you and the partner agency, set up the match meeting, and help you through the transition from our agency to theirs. Your agreed-upon compensation will remain the same. Our partner agencies are all long-standing and trusted companies, and we know you will be in safe and able hands, should you match through one of them.
Of course, if you prefer to only stick with us, we will not share your profile with anyone else. This will be discussed on your intake interview!
Surrogate Compensation
Compensation can vary depending on few factors such as the state in which you reside and your delivery history, but first-time surrogates can expect to earn $45,000-$65,000 base compensation plus a competitive benefits package of up to $10,000 including bonuses at journey milestones, health insurance, life insurance, surrogacy-related lost wages and more.
